Kamil Bien - Voice Coach
My name is Kamil and I am one of the vocal tutors here at The UK Voice Studio. Since 2014, I have been working with customers to build their understanding of the physiology of the voice. I’ve been working with students of all ages and abilities guiding them as they increase their practical and theoretical skills. I love sharing my passion with others and am so grateful that I get to do this incredible job every single day.
During my studies I was trained in the Accent Method, elements of the Estill Voice Training and the Alexander Technique - all of which I use in my teaching.
As someone who had to practice incredibly hard to get where I am today, I know the importance of a good Voice Instructor. I’ve taken everything I have learned over the years and combined it into an approach that is friendly, approachable and effective. My professional training began almost 20 years ago when I joined the
F. Chopin Primary Music School in Bedzin (Poland) to train as a trumpeter. 6 years later I received a place to continue my musical education at the K. Szymanowski General Music Highschool in Katowice (Poland). For a period of 6 years I was intensively trained in musicianship, harmony, history of music, the piano and the trumpet. I graduated from this school with a vocational title of a musician and continued my musical journey as a classical singer at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Upon completion of my Bachelor Degree at the RNCM I sought more professional training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where I was extremely fortunate to have been able to study with Professor Janice Chapman (full biog click here), with Dr Ron Morris (full biog click here) and many others (find out more about my training - full biog on my website - click here).
